Rules
Terms of use: play fair, respect the others
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Daggerfall Online is a free, non-commercial fan project played together by everyone. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these rules. Contact: contact@echo-nexus.fr.
1. Your account
- One account per person. Keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Your username and your character names must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, or impersonate another player, a moderator or a real person.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or the minimum age required in your country).
2. Behaviour
- Be respectful in the chat and in the game: no insults, harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination or sexual content.
- No spam, no advertising, no sharing of other people's personal information.
- Do not deliberately ruin the game of other players.
3. Fair play
- No cheating: no modified game client, cheat tools, bots or automation, and no exploiting bugs to gain an advantage. Report the bugs you find instead.
- Do not attack, overload or try to break into the servers, and do not try to access other players' accounts.
- The game comes with a fixed set of mods, the same for every player. Do not try to play with other mods.
4. Moderation
Moderators can warn, mute, kick or ban players who break these rules, temporarily or for good, depending on how serious it is. Characters and progress of a banned account can be removed.
5. The service
- Daggerfall Online is in development and provided as is, for free. It can change, be interrupted, or lose data (characters, progress) without notice, especially during development.
- You need your own copy of The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall: Daggerfall Online does not distribute the original game files.
- Daggerfall Online is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bethesda Softworks or ZeniMax Media. The Elder Scrolls and Daggerfall are trademarks of ZeniMax Media Inc.
6. Changes
These rules can be updated. The date at the top of this page shows the last change.
